BASIL FROST
DESIGN

ARCHITECT /
BIO-INTEGRATED
DESIGNER

Hi, I’m Basil

I am a recent graduate of the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL, where I completed a Master’s in Bio-Integrated Design. My work bridges architecture and biochemical engineering to develop regenerative approaches to building. I focus on experimental biomaterials, ecological impact modeling, computational design, and robotic fabrication, exploring how living systems and bioprocesses can function as core architectural components. I aim to create environments that respond to ecological pressures while participating in broader natural systems.

Before my graduate studies, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. I then worked at Hisel Flynn Architects, where I contributed to the design of modernist homes in New England. Outside of my design practice, I enjoy sketching, graphic design, and spending time outdoors.
